How much does a consultation cost?
New consultations attract a $80 out-of-pocket fee. Review consultations attract a $60 out of pocket fee
All accounts will need to be paid in full on the day with the Medicare rebate processed electronically within 1-2 days.
How much does a gastroscopy or colonoscopy cost?
The cost of an endoscopic procedure depends upon whether you have private health insurance.
(i) For patients with private health insurance, we are a ‘no gap’ provider meaning the only amount you pay is the ‘excess’ on your health insurance.
(ii) For patients without private health insurance, we offer a ‘self insured’ rate of:
Gastroscopy: $370
Colonoscopy: $475
(iii) For patients without private health insurance we are able to facilitate an endoscopy request to the public system at Eastern Health (Box Hill and Maroondah hospitals).
(IV) Please discuss with our staff if you do not have a Medicare card.
